Good training opportunity for CNC machinists

Hello, everyone. I'm posting here a rare opportunity to enjoy a training scholarship on CNC machining technology here in Manila, but may be available in regional training centers in a few weeks. It's being given by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), and they need around 800 students to train within the remainder of the year for Metro Manila training venues.

The course is actually CNC Machine Tool Programming & Operation  and is being given by the Metals Industry  Rsearch and Development Center.

If you are unemployed and have some vocational or technical training, you may qualify for a daily stipend of P300 pesos while training!


Here are some of the details:


TARGET PARTICIPANTS:
   800 trainees
QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANT:
   Must be either a VocTech graduate (Mechanical   
     Technology or related course or college level (at least
     second year level)
   Preferably, must have basic knowledge and skills in 
     conventional machining (turning or milling) and basic
     computer operation
DURATION OF PROGRAM:
   52-day training program
   Part I-Basic and Common Competencies
   Part II-Core Competency
   Part III-Industry Immersion
TRAINING VENUE:
   MIRDC or at the facilities of Partner Support Organizations
     (PSOs)
STIPEND:
   Php 300.00 daily allowance for unemployed participants
     to defray their cost of living while undergoing training   
     under the project
TRAINING FEE:
   Free for unemployed participants
Minimal fee of Php 10,000.oo only for employed participants
 
Requirements:
 
Must accomplish a Personal Information Sheet  (Forms available at the Industrial Training Section, MIRDC)
Transcript of Records
Diploma/Certification
Barangay Clearance
Community Tax Certificate
Physically Fit (Medical Certificate required)
Recent Photo (Passport Size)
  
 Service Contract: 3 years service  in the Philippines after the training.
